Customs terminal Ozernoe-Zhitomir<\/h2>\n

One of the achievements in the work of PE “Ozernoe-Zhitomir” was the opening of a checkpoint across the state border of Ozernoe-Zhitomir for international cargo traffic on the territory of the Ozernoe airfield.<\/p>\n

The international checkpoint will certainly help create conditions for the operation of aircraft, improve the level of flight safety in general, and increase the competitiveness of the aviation industry in the global air freight market.<\/p>\n

Financing and creating conditions for the successful operation of control services at the “International border crossing point on the Ozernoye-Zhitomir state border” is handled exclusively by the aerodrome operator – PE “Ozernoe-Zhitomir”.<\/p>\n

The basis of the infrastructure of the customs terminal Ozernoye-Zhitomir is a temporary storage warehouse.<\/p>\n

Warehouse of temporary storage of open type – WTS (O) is designed for receiving, storing, dispatching goods and vehicles located in the WTS (O) under customs control.<\/p>\n

WTS (O) is a carcass hangar with a total area of \u200b\u200b491.7 square meters. Next to the storage room is a ramp and an observation deck with a hard surface.<\/p>\n

The territory of WTS (O) is equipped with an access system – there is a barrier, gates, car scales, devices for automatic reading of registration plates of the vehicle.<\/p>\n

To ensure the control and inspection of goods for the detection of prohibited goods for transportation, an X-ray television (interroscope) is installed on the ramp.<\/p>\n

On the territory of WTS (O) there are 6 modular-type premises with workplaces for control services and customs clearance units of the customs post “Zhitomir-Tsentralny” according to the current normative legal and sanitary documentation.<\/p>\n

In general, the arrangement of the WTS (O) private enterprise “Ozernoye-Zhytomyr Airlines” meets the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The terminal is located 15 km from Zhytomyr, at the intersection of highways of international importance Kiev-Chop; Kiev-Odessa; Vystupovichi – Kiev-Khmelnitsky.<\/p>\n

Location and equipment fully complies with the current requirements for customs and logistics terminals close to the state border.<\/p>\n

At the terminal there are: border control point, customs department, quarantine and phytosanitary control post, environmental control, brokers, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/p>\n

The equipment of the terminal allows processing of groups of goods of general purpose.<\/p>\n

The terminal complex has a wide range of services: customs clearance, storage and warehousing of goods, loading and unloading operations;<\/p>\n

The next stage in the development of the terminal is the construction of hangars for routine maintenance of aircraft.<\/p>\n
